Grow Your Cause 2008

2008 Grow Your Cause Winner

After being named the winner of the 2008 Grow your Cause campaign, Community Life Concepts, a well-deserving organization that provides a host of site-based social services to apartment residents in metro Atlanta, worked closely with Cool Blue Interactive and Duffey Communications to create an inventive and beneficial website. As a result, their website moved from a basic, one-page site to one with advanced functionality capable of letting more residents know about its services – and keeping volunteers and donors updated about its needs.

By working closely with Cool Blue, Community Life Concepts learned the “how” and “why” of a new website including how to target their audience, effectively pursue their goals as a business, and promote their company’s overall message. Many clients get stuck in the notion that a website is a “big brochure” but it is much more than that. A well designed site can be extremely rewarding for a company’s message, efficiency and profit.

“Rather than trying to tell it all on the home page, we created architecture and design that helped craft a website that produces paths for a variety of users and creates a visually strong emotional impact” states Bo Simmons, Cool Blue President.
Launched in December 2008, the updated website allows for the expansion of CLC’s organization by making customers more aware of the services they offer, thus creating more volunteers and donations, which will ultimately impact their partners and communities.
